Sales Operations Manager

About this position:
Context Labs is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to support our rapidly growing business development and sales teams within a fast-paced environment. In this role you will partner with Context Labs leadership by developing and deploying strategies, tactics tools and metrics that drive strategic revenue growth. This position reports directly to and works regularly with the Chief Business Officer


In this role you will:

  • Act as the subject matter expert of all things Salesforce CRM, from implementation to day-to-day system administration and management.
  • Lead workflow and business process integration with our Customer Experience lifecycle, Marketing infrastructure and Development and Strategy office.
  • Create collaborative relationships to produce cross-functional system education and sales training.
  • Build out sales infrastructure and resources to help support the creation and scaling of a world class sales organization.
  • Create, input, track and analyze key metrics including pipeline growth, win/loss rates, performance reports and quota attainment.
  • Own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and deliver regular insights to the business; define and deliver techniques to improve the funnel performance for sales leadership.
  • Work closely with Marketing to define and create sales collateral for current and prospective clients.
  • Work closely with Customer Experience to define and create world class integrated teams impacting the full sales lifecycle through transition to project launch, delivery and upsell.
  • Work closely with corporate development to define market segment opportunities from our existing pipeline to expand our strategic growth and scale.
  • Create sales playbooks, battle cards and other strategic collateral to ensure sales wins.
  • Research new types of sales analysis and forecasting methodologies to support achievement of sales and increase market share (overall and per sales vector).
  • Coordinate efforts for the onboarding, training, retention, and professional development of our sales team.
  • Assist with creating quotes and proposals for partners and customers.
  • Anything else as may reasonably be required by the company.

We are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience leading Sales Operations.
  • Experience working for a fast-paced, tech startup or similar experience.
  • Facility with CRM, structured and unstructured databases.
  • Sales process and enablement subject matter expert.
  • Ability to maintain positive, collaborative relationships to interface effectively with multiple internal and external parties.
  • Self-starter and a motivated individual that can guide a deal through its complete lifecycle from open to close.
  • Superior communication skills and outstanding ability to think on your feet.
  • Outstanding organizational skills to track, manage, contribute to, report on and close multiple deals every day.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and Salesforce CRM.
  • Ability to travel on a limited basis (15% if needed)

Preferred Experience:

  • Salesforce CRM implementation and administration.
  • Business Development and Sales campaign design and execution.
  • Operating or asset management experience in energy, critical infrastructure, real estate, and natural resources.
  • Working knowledge of climate issues and their impacts on industrial enterprises, financial and capital markets.
